This resource guide has an overview of several cancer types in the head and neck region, including laryngeal, throat, oral, thyroid, salivary gland, and sinus and nasal cancers. The guide includes illustrations and staging for each type, along with common treatment strategies. Helpful information about dental and oral side effects, reconstructive options, nutrition, self-care and caregiving are included. A survivor shares her inspiring story, and a full list of advocacy and financial resources is provided.
